This Cookie Policy explains how Fusewise AG (“Fusewise”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at www.fusewise.com and its sub-domains. It supplements, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data more generally.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to make it work, to remember your choices, or to understand how the site is used. We also use similar technologies, such as pixels, tags and local storage, which we refer to together with cookies as “cookies” in this policy.
Cookies may be set by us (first-party) or by third-party services we use (third-party), and may last only for your visit (session cookies) or for a defined period (persistent cookies).
2. The categories of cookies we use
In line with our Privacy Policy, we group cookies and similar technologies into four categories:
- Strictly necessary: required for the website to function and to be secure (for example, security, load balancing, and storing your cookie-consent choices). These are always active and do not require consent.
- Preference: remember choices you make to improve your experience (for example, your language or region).
- Statistics / analytics: help us understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it. Our baseline analytics is privacy-friendly and cookieless, self-hosted on our own infrastructure, and runs without setting cookies. Analytics that relies on cookies, such as heatmaps and session recordings (Microsoft Clarity), is used only with your consent.
- Marketing: measure the performance of our campaigns and, where relevant, support social and advertising features (for example, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and social plugins).
Where the law requires consent, in particular for statistics/analytics and marketing cookies, we obtain it through our cookie-consent banner, and you can withdraw or change your choices at any time (see Section 4).
3. Cookies and tools we use
Depending on the choices you make in our consent banner, the following cookies and tools may be used:

Cookie-based statistics and marketing tools (such as Microsoft Clarity and the LinkedIn Insight Tag) are loaded only after you give the relevant consent; our cookieless self-hosted analytics runs without cookies and does not depend on consent. You can change or withdraw your consent for these tools at any time (see Section 4).
4. Managing your cookie preferences
When you first visit our website, our cookie-consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies by category. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by re-opening the cookie settings from the “Cookie settings” link in our website footer.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting existing cookies or blocking new ones. If you disable certain cookies, some parts of the website may not work as intended. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.
5. Third-party cookies and social media (LinkedIn)
Some cookies are set by third parties whose services we use. In particular, our website links to and can integrate with our LinkedIn company page (linkedin.com/company/fusewise1). A simple link to LinkedIn does not set cookies until you click it. Where we enable the LinkedIn Insight Tag or an interactive LinkedIn plugin, it is treated as a marketing cookie and loads only with your consent; if you then interact with it, information about your visit may be transmitted to LinkedIn and associated with your LinkedIn account where you are logged in. Your use of LinkedIn is governed by LinkedIn’s own cookie and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the cookies set by third-party websites you reach through links on our site.
6. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in legal requirements. Any changes will be published on this page.
